Description

Our TM47 Fine Mortar has been designed for the restoration and renovation of historical buildings. With over 20 years experience, Limebase has provided its products to many different building projects such as Westminster Abbey, Windsor Castle and Tower of London, to name but a few.

Fine lime mortar has long been used to provide stability, strength and durability to historical buildings. The pink/red colouring sits seamlessly alongside ancient brickwork and allows each building to maintain its historical accuracy during restoration. This material is also known for its ability to allow a building to breathe – expanding and retracting over time and as the weather changes.

This mortar is produced by mixing up a careful balance of a lime base with fine sand and stonedust. This produces a material that is less likely to crack and provides structural integrity to the entire building. We provide this product in 25kg bags, with it also available to pre-order in bulk bags of half tonne and one tonne dumpy bags to suit the project and budget requirements of your project.
